Your “Tens” and Raising the Bar on your Photography


1.Gather up your top ten photographs into a portfolio (printed photographs or your iPad).

2.Present them really nicely.

3.When someone comes up and wants to see your photographs, you can show them those 10 photos.

4.When you take a photo that’s better than one of those ten, replace it, and put the other one in.

5.If you go for 3 or 4 months and they’re the same 10 damn photos, you know that you’re not working it—you need to push yourself!

Last call for slideshow!

For those of you attending the holiday party please note that slideshows for out annual mini digital competition (5 minute max on any subject after dinner) are due to Lisa by midnight December 10th.


The deadline for reservations for the party is December 9th


Also bring your toys!
As we have done the last couple of years, instead of a grab bag, we will give to a charity. This year it will be TOYS FOR TOTS. http://www.toysfortotsnewhaven.org/ New, unwrapped toys can be brought to the party with a value of $10. If you prefer, a money contribution can be given - checks to be made out to "Marine Corps Toys for Tots" Toys for all ages up to 17 are appreciated, but the greatest need is in the 0-2 or 15-17 age brackets.

Come one, come all to the annual Holiday Party of the New Haven Camera Club

When: MONDAY DECEMBER 13th 6:00 PM Drinks and appetizers 6:30 PM Dinner

Where: Serafino's on Hartford Turnpike in Wallingford near the Oakdale Theatre Serafino's Ristorante Italiano 72 South Turnpike Road Wallingford, Connecticut

Menu: hot and cold appetizers, penne ala vodka, chicken, roast beef, chocolate mousse
Cost: $33
