A classic garden in the English manner,
with a loosely formal structure, informally planted in generous abundance
situated in the Litchfield hills of Connecticut.
In June the garden reaches a peak
of beauty and abundance So many good things are in bloom, among them roses and
peonies, and everything is still fresh and unblemished by insect attack or
fungus.
Visitors
taking photos must stay on pathways and not block access or passage of
other visitors. Walking in planted areas or placing anything in planted
areas is prohibited.
Tripods are permitted only during Artist and Photographer hours
on Wednesday mornings.
DATE: June
10, 2026
Time: Meet
in the parking lot at 9:45 – Gardens from 10-12:00 to explore and photograph
with your tripods. After that time, they must be put away.
Lunch: 12:30 - We will go to a restaurant in Washington,
CT (To be announced)
After lunch
– you are free to explore the quaint town of Washington or nearby attractions
on your own.
