NHCC’S First Photo Trip of 2026 has been scheduled!

On Saturday, April 25, we will be photographing the animals, including the finicky ones, at the

                                                THE ROGER WILLIAMS PARK ZOO!

We will meet in the parking lot nearest the entrance at 9:45 AM! (You can do it!)

IMPORTANT & INTERESTING FACTS:

- The zoo opens at 10 AM. and closes at 4 PM.

- It’s 40 acres (over a mile long) with indoor and outdoor areas. Some outdoor sections may be uneven and/or hilly. Please note, “The Faces of the Rainforest” closes daily at 3:30 PM! Guests must be in line by 3:00 PM for entry.

- There are more than 100 different animal species.


- Guests are welcome to take photos; however, prior approval is required if you plan to use a drone.

- There are three main food options: Two of them, Tuskers and Slice, are located near the African Jambo Junction. The third, Nourish 401, is in the Upper Zoo area. Guests can also bring their own meals, as there are picnic tables.

TICKET PURCHASES. Tickets must be purchased for specific one-hour windows. You need to arrive during the window in which you purchased your tickets. Sales are final and non-refundable. Weekend capacity is limited, so be sure to purchase your tickets early!
