INTERCLUB COMPETITION: February 17th, 2026

The New Haven Camera Club has been invited to compete in an InterClub Competition with Flagpole Photographers Camera Club from Newtown, CT.  The competition will be held in February 17th, 2026 so there is time to go back in your archives and spruce up your images to enter in 25 interesting categories.  

Enter as many categories as you can. Each category will be represented by 25 different members, meaning, in the final competition one member will not be competing their images in more than 1 or possibly 2 categories.  It sounds confusing so please email me with any questions you might have.  

This competition is not associated with NECCC, PSA or CAP so any member can participate.

InterClub Competition with Flagpole Photographers Camera Club

 

There are 25 categories.  You can enter no more than 2 images in all or any of the categories.  Images must be submitted no later than February 1, 2026.

There will be a preliminary judging of images which will result in one image from each category to be entered into the final competition with Flagpole.  For the final competition there will be 25 images by 25 different members.  If 25 members do not submit images, 1 or 2 members will be allowed to enter 2 images in the final competition. This will be determined when all the images are submitted. 

25 members will be represented in the final competition.

The final competition will be held at Flagpole’s meeting place and will be in-person and on zoom.  We are invited to attend.  It will take place on February 17, 2026 at 7:00pm.

Rules

·         Each member can submit 1 or 2 images in each category.

·         All aspects of the image must be taken by the maker.

·         There is no time limit as to when the image was taken. Images could have been previously submitted for NHCC competition. It does not matter whether they have won or not. 

           The same image can be entered into 2 different categories in the preliminary competition.  This can only be done one time for each member.

·         Images can be color or monochrome.

·         Images should be sized to 1920 X 1080 (vertical dimension should not exceed 1080).  Images that are sized to the previous file size of 1400 X1050 will be accepted.

Directions for Submitting Images

Deadline is February 1, 2026. 
It is important to include the Category: your name; and the name of the image.
