FIELD TRIP TO
THE HIGH LINE IN NEW YORK CITY
DATE: Thursday May 15th

TIME: 8:30 am from West Haven train station
Let’s travel to the Big Apple by train, take a cab to the southern end of the High Line and Little Island. The High Line is a public park built on a historic, elevated rail line. We will walk 1.5 miles through gardens, enjoying art and sculpture areas, all the while taking lots of photos of the sights and people.
Along the way we’ll stop to explore Chelsea Market, the Vessel which is at Hudson Yards, and the “Dinosaur” which is a large metal sculpture of a pigeon.
There are benches scattered along the walkway as well as bathrooms. Lunch will be in the Hudson Yards area.
