PROGRAM: Real Creativity with Artificial Intelligence March 10th, 2025 (Zoom)

 Real Creativity with Artificial Intelligence

by Aaron Hockley

You can't talk about photography in 2025 without talking about artificial intelligence(AI) image generation.  It could be an announcement about a new tool from Adobe,Google, or OpenAI, or it might be an argument or lawsuit about the copyright aspects of the tools. Let's take a *practical* look at generative AI as photographers.

We'll review how AI image-generation tools work and touch on the copyright issues briefly before diving into how to incorporate them into our creative world with a variety of software tools:

- using generated imagery in conjunction with traditional

 photography

- when generated imagery makes sense

- a humorous look at whether we should fear being replaced as

 photographers
