This invitation/zoom link is being sent to all Chairman/Directors of the NECCC Digital interclub and to all NECCC member Club Presidents and Reps, to join us either in person at the live judging or by zoom for the 2nd Interclub Digital Competition (Winter) being judging this Saturday Feb.10, 2024. We invite your membership and especially your club members who have an image in the competition to join us by zoom or in person at the GLPA Headquarters.
The judging will start at 11am with the doors to the club open at 10:30am and the zoom link open at 10:45 am. This competition will be scoring only by 3 judges with no critique. Ties will be broken and
1st-2nd-3rd and HA will be selected by the judges at that time. Points for the images will not change, but they will select the winners out of the higher scoring point images.
Scoring will be from 2-5 per judge or 6-15 total per image.
Our Judges are all well-known judges and presenters and are all qualified in nature and mono with two belonging to the Mass Camera Naturalists (CamNats) a nature by invitation only club.
Judges are Silvana Della Camera, MNEC; Mike Goodman MNEC; and Dennis Goulet, HonNEC.
We have 40 clubs participating ( 21 in Class A, 14 in Class B & 5 clubs mixed one subject A-one subject B) we also have 36 clubs who participated in the new no class mono section. A total of 454 images. We expect the judging to last about 21/2 - 3 hours. Club Directors were asked this year to put nature images into Nature & Mono into Mono. You will not see any mono images in the color section or nature section and the only nature images you will see in the color section will be those that have been modified in some way and no longer fit the PSA Nature definition. Clubs were all given the opportunity to correct any errors with their entries prior to the judging.
