This is a terrific easy cheap DIY for light control. Steve uses it often. He used it and bounce flash (corner of ceiling and wall to her right) to make that headshot of my wife Cindy.

A nice light modifier. Yields soft and almost shadowless light. Folds to fit in camera bag. Weighs next to nothing. I have yards of the Ikea shelf liner if anyone wants some. You would just need to get the Velcro (I think I got mine at Joann Fabric and Crafts). You can get knock offs of the Fong Lightsphere on eBay. Not worth the money or effort. I have one. I like this much better.
