All Things Change – Including the Supply Pond Field Trip
After talking to Paul Peterson, I did a drive -by at the Supply Pond in Branford. The trees are a 99.9% of green. There is a sliver of color, but just a sliver. It is not the wonderful, fall foliage reflections of past years. Therefore, that location has been cancelled.
Wait….. Paul came up with an alternative: Strawberry Hallow Farm on Route 1 in Guilford. Extremely picturesque, pumpkins, hay, stone walls, etc. There is even a small shop for those who love to poke around. The website says it is a “New England Postcard.”
