Here are two great places to visit in the southern part of our state.
1) Stamford Museum and Nature Center is an art, history nature and agricultural sciences museum. The 118-acres property was once the home of fashion designer and department store owner Henri Willis Bendel. Today it is home to a 10-acre working farm, a Tudor-style museum and art gallery, 80 acres of outdoor walking trails, outdoor sculptures, an observatory and planetarium, and an otter pond. 2) United House Wrecking, a unique family business featuring 40,000 sq. ft. showroom of home décor, vintage, salvage and custom furniture. | Location: 535 Hope St., Stamford CT
