EXCITING FIELD TRIP TO ACADIA NATIONAL PARK OCTOBER 9-13, 2018
Join your New Haven Camera Club friends on a 5-day field trip to Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor Maine. There will be an overnight stop in the beautiful Camden area for dinner, rest and some photography. Then on to Bar Harbor in the morning where we'll explore the scenic sights along the Loop Road, with a stop at Jordan Pond for shooting and lunch including their iconic popovers! We plan to take sunset shots in Bar Harbor itself as well as at Bass Light. And an early morning sunrise trip to Cadillac Mountain will get us up and going for another day of photography. On the last day, we'll drive to Schoodic Peninsula which has waves crashing on the rocks, close up opportunities of flowers, roots, mushrooms etc. We'll have lunch there and may even find a winery!!
