We meet on the 2nd Monday of the month for our programs and the fourth Monday of the month for our competitions. Meetings are usually held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays at 7:00 pm Sept-May) at the Whitney Center, Cultural Arts Center, 200 Leeder Hill Drive, Hamden. Meetings are free and open to the public. FYI, You must be a member to compete, attend workshops and field trips. Come at 6:45, programs start at 7:00.
Travel to beautiful Italy with Paul and Carmel Peterson who have visited this wonderful country in each of the past three years. Cities and areas visited include Rome, Portofino, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Capri, Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano, and of course Venice, including the islands of Murano and Burano.
Besides presenting lots of photos which show the incredible beauty of Italy, Paul will offer some Photo Tips which hopefully will help you with your own photography.
Paul Peterson, who is the New Haven Camera Club's VP for Inside Competitions, is actually best known for his close-ups of flowers and nature subjects. However, ever since Paul and Carmel first visited Italy in 2013, they have been drawn to the sights, people, and culture of this beautiful country.
