WORKSHOP - BASIC PHOTOSHOP OR ELEMENTS
MONDAY, MARCH 19, 7 PM, BRANFORD, CT
This workshop is designed for those who want to start using Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements) or for those who need to refresh their skills. This is NOT scheduled to be a "hands on" workshop, so you do not need to bring your laptop. Paul Peterson will demonstrate how to use the tools that appear on the left side of the Photoshop workspace. You will see that just a few simple steps can greatly improve your images.
For instance, you will learn to crop, clone out unwanted things, straighten the horizon, improve the color, and much more. Learning what each tool does, and how to use it successfully, will provide a fast track to get you started using Photoshop. He will also demonstrate how to resize images to prepare them for competition and how to upload them to the NHCC software.
If you have taken this workshop before, you are still welcome to take it again, as it takes many people a while to become comfortable with Photoshop.
This workshop is open to the first 8 people to register. To sign up, please email Joan at
Workshops are free but you must be a current member to attend.
