Join NHCC for a wonderful Travel showcase on Oregon...
Oregon, USA’s other coast, the west coast with its beautiful rocks and boulders on its sandy coastal beach line. Oregon is an incredible state with a wide variety of landscapes. Everyone has heard about the spectacular Pacific coast, along with the Rainforests and waterfalls of the Columbia River Gorge but there is so much more to the state. In Central Oregon you find Crater Lake, the Cascades and a Lava field that extends for as far as you can see. Western Oregon is a combination of desert and miles of grasslands where the first European settlers followed the Oregon Trail. Come enjoy beautiful images choreographed to music and an informative narration about this amazing area of the Northwest.
Our speaker, Gail Hansche-Godin, MNEC is an award-winning nature photographer with a special passion for birds. A life-long naturalist, Gail’s passion is taking portraits of wildlife. She is a member of the Greater Lynn Photographic Society, President of the Massachusetts Camera Naturalists- CamNats, past president of the Stony Brook Camera Club and past Co-Chair of the NECCC Conference. She has been published in Massachusetts Wildlife magazine, National Wildlife magazine, The Nature Conservancy and Mass Audubon Connections. A club, interclub, and International Exhibitions judge, she also presents multi-media showcases and teaching presentations to a variety of audiences across New England and has been the recipient of many medals and awards in international exhibitions, local and interclub competitions. As a member of GLPA, Gail is the chairman of our annual fall Photocourse and most recently, she has been running Nature Photography day camps for the Massachusetts Audubon Society. http://www.featherfotos.com/
