Plug-In’s
What are they and what can they do for me?

You
may have heard fellow photographers talk about Nik, Topaz Adjust,
Viveza, OnOne, etc., but not be sure just what they are. These are
powerful plug-ins that can make you images ‘sing’ very simply with just a
click or two. Most come with presets so you can see the effect on your
image immediately. In addition the presets can be saved and allow you to apply the same effects to many images.
Our
own Hazel Meredith, APSA, MNEC, will be doing a workshop to introduce
you to these plug ins, and show just how easy it is to really pop your
images. This workshop is intended as an overview of the many filters and
effects you can achieve very easily. They work along side Photoshop
CS/CC, Photoshop Elements, Lightroom, and in some cases, as stand alone
filters. This will not be a hands on workshop, so no laptops are
required… just bring yourself, maybe a pen and notebook, and a readiness
to learn.
