NHCC members and friends -

The program originally scheduled for our Monday, November 12th, 2012, meeting unfortunately will not be presented.  Our scheduled presenter, Jerry Monkman, and his family had a severe fire at their residence in Portsmouth, NH, the other day which has forced them our of their home and they are now concentrating on getting their house repaired and back into habitable condition.  Because of the extent of the damage to his home, Jerry is unable come to New Haven and to put on his “Never Fail Landscape Tips” program for us.  We hope to reschedule him at a later date, as well as the workshops he had planned for Sunday and Monday afternoon.

In place of the scheduled program, we will be presenting a viewing of the accepted and winning images from the 2012 George W. Glennie Memorial Nature Salon competition which is sponsored each year by the Merrimack Valley Camera Club  in honor and memory of Mr. Glennie,  You will see superb nature images (PSA rules used to define what constitutes “Nature”) that were from photographers from nearly every state in the union and other countries besides the USA..  Several members of the New Haven Camera Club have entries which were accepted and some have images which were award winners and are part of the program.

We apologize for this last minute change in our schedule but Jerry must take time away from his speaking engagements and photography for several months to get repairs and renovations started on his badly damaged home but we hope you will still come Monday evening and enjoy our substitute program.
