NEW YORK BOTANICAL field trip

NEW HAVEN CAMERA CLUB TRIP
TO NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN GARDEN PAINTINGS/WATERLILLIES
AND WAVE HILL PUBLIC GARDEN and CULTURAL CENTER
JULY 28, 2012
Join New Haven Camera Club for a day of photographing two New York gardens. The first location is The New York Botanical Gardens, Bronx New York, where a special gathering of impressionist painter Claude Monet's paintings will be on exhibit. Monet's original palette, and digital versions of his sketchbooks will also be on display. Waterlilies which were Monet's inspiration, pay tribute him in the Conservatory Glasshouse and outdoor courtyards.
The second location will be nearby Wave Hill New York Public Garden overlooking the Hudson River. There are 28 acres to explore including a garden pool environment for resident fish, frogs, and dragonflies.
