Profession: self-employed Internet Marketer, Webmaster, Database Programmer, Web Designer and occasional event & portrait photographer

Favorite comfort food: My mother’s eggplant parmigiana – the best

Favorite childhood memory: 10 years old - taking pictures at the 1964 NY World’s Fair with my Brownie Starmite Camera


My other hobbies include: travel, digital scrapbooking, cooking, quilting

Prized Possession: my sapphire and diamond engagement ring from my husband Brinck

I’ve never been able to: stay thin

I’d give anything to have met: my great-grandfather – he was a Governor in the Phillipine Islands in the early 1900’s

Major personal accomplishments: self-financing my entire college education; raising 3 kids as a single mother; starting my web business in 1996 and being self-employed for 13 years; finding my husband on Match.com

Three words that best describe me: direct, friendly, tenacious

My personal goals are: to really learn & remember how to adjust the settings on my Nikon SB900 flash. One of these days I’ll read the manual.

The best part of being a photographer is: making people happy with the pictures I take

I became interested in photography when… my grandfather took my picture as a 5 year old with his Polaroid Land Camera – I was fascinated!

My advice to other photographers is: Shoot. A Lot. Never stop learning. Study with good teachers. Challenge yourself.

What is something about you that NHCC members do not know? Probably a lot. I’m new here!
