Dear Club Members,
The New Haven Camera Club participated in four interclub competitions for projected images during the 2008-09 season: NECCC Pictorial, NECCC Nature, PSA Nature Division, and PSA Electronic Imaging Division.
In addition Art Yost entered prints for the club in the NECCC Color Print competitions.
As reported previously, in the NECCC Pictorial (or Open) interclub competition NHCC ended up in a tie for 6th place.
In the NECCC Nature interclub competition NHCC ended up in first place leading the second place club (Gateway) by 10 points.
The results for the final PSA competitions were just received.
PSA NATURE DIVISION INTERCLUB COMPETITION
For the third and final competition of the year NHCC received the following scores:

As a result we were tied for third place in the third competition. Overall for the year NHCC was in 5th place out of a total of 31 clubs.
PSA ELECTRONIC IMAGING DIVISION INTERCLUB COMPETITION
For the fourth and final competition of the year, NHCC received the following scores:

As a result we were in second place for the fourth competition with 62 points. The Photographic Guild of Nova Scotia was in first place with 65 points. Overall for the year NHCC received 269 points for a first place win. The Ridgewood Camera Club (NJ) was in second place with 262 points and the Seattle Photographic Society was in third place with 260 points.
I want to thank all the members who allowed me to enter their photographs in these competitions during the year. Our success (two first place wins our of four competitions) would not be possible without the very high quality of work produced by our members.
