Great food, fun, friendship, programs and generosity - all occurred at the New Haven Camera Club's annual holiday party on Monday at Pompeo's. There were 39 in attendance and everyone was very generous as we donated toys or cash to the Toys for Tots program run by the Marines. There were 21 toys - all new and ready to be given to a needy child. And $100 was donated to supplement the toys. I will be taking them to a drop off point this weekend.
And our entertainment consisted of 10 digital programs, including 3 by new makers who haven't entered before. The winner by popular vote was Lisa Cuchara with her program entitled "Snow Geese". CONGRATULATIONS, LISA.
