FIELD TRIP: Brandywine Valley Trip June 12th-14th

Brandywine Valley Trip will be from Wednesday to Friday June 12-14th. This is a change from original weekend date in order to insure enough available rooms at a more reasonable rate. 

This trip will include a significant time on Thursday at Longwood Gardens, entering the park in the early afternoon and staying for the fountain show in the evening. The trip will include suggestions for photo ops on the way down to PA.

The particular motel will be chosen shortly and each traveler will make their own reservations. 

A timed entrance to Longwood Gardens is also necessary and we'll give you that time after you sign up for the trip. 

We plan to visit at least one or two other gardens in the area, along with a Grist Mill, Covered Bridge and some neighboring quaint towns. Some of these will be on your journey down to Kenneth Square and back home on Friday. 

The motels will have free breakfasts. One dinner will be at the Garden Cafe in Longwood Gardens on Thursday. The other will be Wednesday Night either at our motel or very nearby restaurant. 

I'm hoping to get some reduced rates based on my conversation with a contact from the Visitor's Bureau and a member of Longwood Gardens.
