A Place Called Hope Field Trip
We are having a field trip to A Place called Hope located in Killingsworth, CT on August 13th from 12:30pm to 3pm. A Place for Hope is a wonderful rescue, rehabilitation and release organization for raptors. They help eagles, hawks, owls, falcons, harriers, kites, osprey and vultures. This is a great opportunity to get up close and photograph the birds. And a great way to meet other members of our club and learn about photography.
We will arrive at about 12:30pm to set up to photograph the birds between 1 to 3pm.
The cost of the trip is donated to the facility to help continue their important work. The cost is $45.00 for 10 to 19 people. The cost is reduced to $25.00 if we can guarantee 20 or more photographers. So we are planning on at least 20 people to keep the cost low but are limiting the number of people to 25 people We will have a waiting list. Because we have to guarantee at least 20 people to keep the costs down, we are asking for payment in the advance in the form of a check made out to A Place For Hope. If you sign up for the trip and need to cancel out we will make every effort to replace you on the trip with our waiting list. In that case we will return your check.
This trip will be combined with the Greater Bridgeport Camera Club.

As with all New Haven Camera Club trips, you do need to be a paid member to attend, upgrade to family membership to bring a spouse. When you attend a field trip with the club it gives you a great chance of meeting some wonderful people, learn about your craft, and taking some great images. So please join us!!!
