Competition Postponed Yet Again

Competition Postponed Yet Again

Whitney Center has informed us that due to the impending snow or ice storm on Monday, all activities have been cancelled. This means that our January 26 competition will have to be postponed again. The new plan is to have that competition next Monday, February 16 (weather permitting). Note that this is not a regularly scheduled meeting night, but Whitney Center has already confirmed that we can use our regular room. We also know that this is President's Day and some of you may have plans, but we need to catch up with our competitions.  Denise already has your electronic images, so there is nothing more for you to do. Of course, if you wish to compete in prints, you will need to bring those with you as usual.

As was stated in a previous blog post, the February 9 competition will be moved to later in the year, that date has been confirmed as May 4th. The assigned subject "Teeth" will be moved to that date.

The February 23 competition will not be affected by any of this. As long as the weather holds, it will be held as scheduled. The assigned subject for February 23 is "Ice" which seems to be appropriate under the circumstances.

This change means that we will be holding "back to back" competitions on two successive weeks, February 16 and February 23. Electronic images for the February 23 competition will be due on Friday, February 20.
