Reminder: Charity NHCC holiday party
A few years ago we moved away from the cheap grab bag gift exchange to donating to a charity and we have never looked back. It is a small something that the club can do for others.
If you want to participate please bring an unwrapped gift to our Holiday party, or a check made out to Child FIRST.
Child FIRST is a program that started in Bridgeport and is now statewide, focusing on working with families with children ages birth to six. It is a home-based early intervention service which works with the most vulnerable young children in families experiencing poverty, maternal depression, domestic violence, substance abuse and homelessness. Many of the children suffer from developmental delays, emotional and behavioral problems, and past abuse/neglect.
Child FIRST is seeking donations of toys, books or gift cards to make this year's holiday brighter. Please consider getting toys geared to children from 2-6.
